The House Life Project
In conjunction with the Museum Studies’ Exhibit Planning and Design course with the Sam H. Jones Community Service Scholarship, I worked on curating and designing a traveling exhibit covering The House Life Project, an arts initiative that took place in vacant homes on Indianapolis’ near-east side. I supported the launch of a publication by creating and running a social media campaign, served as liaison with artists whose work was exhibited, designed and managed printing of installation elements, and assisted with installation and deinstallation of the show.
“We’re Open, Come In: The House Life Project” ran from August 2-30, 2018 at Gallery 924 in Indianapolis, IN.

After an iterative process of designing the exhibit layout, I created a more concrete layout using Sketchup. A few minor changes happened during installation, allowing for better flow/usage of the space (and space requirements).

For the exhibit, I designed numerous elements. The exhibit labels were created in collaboration with curator Laura Holzman and myself.
